Andres Sarda’s Winter 2012-2013 steps in with a beat. Dance, its esthetics and its magic are the sources of inspiration for the firm’s fiftieth anniversary collection.A very special occasion, where creative director Nuria Sarda presents a selection of the most representative, iconic pieces.Originals that recount the spirit of the firm from the sixties to the present.

Stars in a creative universe of beautiful shapes and materials that, like dance itself, revolve around beauty, the body and movement.The gaine of the sixties, the see-through bodysuits and color combinations photographed by Hamilton in the seventies; the brassiere with silken straps and the sculptural, high-cut lace panties with high waist, characterizing the eighties; the balconette with the push up effect, and the sophisticated bodysuit of lacy cashmire wool from the nineties; the model with mink appliques created in the 2000 decade, and the top with crossing back straps, with and without pearls.Delicate pieces of fabric that draw together the most emblematic moments of the firm in a visual journey that pays homage to its leading player: woman.

Led by the music, these garments glide onto the dance floor of the grand ballrooms, to become enrapt by the rhythms of flamenco, the cadence of the waltz, the depth of the tango and the sinuosity of Latin grooves.

A project that has become reality in luxurious fabrics such as fine lace, satins and muslins of silk, rich in details like pearl and crystal appliques by Swarovsky, with the complicity of LYCRA® fiber to ensure comfort and perfect fit.

As for colors, this season’s palette takes its inspiration from nature, with muted greens, deep blues, warm sands and rusts, minerals and the multiple shades of semi-precious stones. Let the dance begin!
